Jesse Mason is a professor of physics at Henry Ford College and the director of the Hammond Planetarium. Mason graduated with honors from Eastern Michigan University with a double major in physics and music. Returning to his alma mater, he earned a Master's degree in physics with a focus on education. After his graduate work, Mason was hired as a physics lab tech for Oakland Community College, founded an astronomy club, launched a educational YouTube channel, and piloted 3d virtual environmental software.
